Founder and Managing Partner
Jeff is Founder and Managing Partner of MCP. He was also Founder and CEO of predecessor firm Malbec Partners, a family-owned investment and advisory company sponsored by BNP Paribas with $350M. Previously, Jeff was President of Tradex Global Advisors, COO/CFO of Fischer Francis Trees & Watts, and COO for Xerion Partners and Third Point. Previously, he served as Senior Managing Director and CFO for J.P. Morgan’s asset management business ($600B AUM), serving on their Executive Committee. Prior, he was a founding partner and COO/CFO of Chancellor Capital Management ($60B AUM) and formally with Citibank Investment Management.
John Prescott

John Prescott is Partner of Malbec Capital Partners, overseeing legal, tax, and deal structuring matters. John advises family offices and ultra high net worth individuals on tax-efficient structuring and investment strategy. He previously led a leading US-based single family office for more than twenty years, which culminated in the structure of a successful expatriation process. Prior to this, John served as Chief of Litigation for Taylor, Ganson & Perrin, LLP. John began his career at White Inker Aronson. John is a graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and of Suffolk University Law School
Andrew Bottimore

Drew Bottimore is Partner of Malbec Capital Partners, focused on financing and deal originations. He was previously partner in an investment and advisory business, serving a number of private clients, with a focus on special situations in emerging markets. Prior to this, Drew worked in international trade in the public sector, including time in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. He previously worked for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives' Ways and Means Committee, and for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
